This is an all-day crockpot recipe, but it is really worth it!!

1 Willowgrove Hill Cottage Roll
2 L gingerale
2 Tbsp butter or margarine, melted
½ cup brown sugar
1 Tbsp mustard or Dijon, if you like

Remove Willowgrove Hill cottage roll from package and rinse under cold water.

Place cottage roll, fatty side up, in a crockpot.

Pour gingerale over cottage roll to cover.

Place lid on crockpot and cook on High for 8-10 hours.  Check periodically to make sure there is lots of liquid in pot.

When you can easily pierce cottage roll with a fork, it is done. 

When cottage roll is done, remove from crockpot and place in a roasting pan.

Mix melted butter, brown sugar and mustard and with a brush, glaze the cottage roll.

Reserve some of the brown sugar mixture for browning on top.  If you have any leftover gingerale, pour into bottom of roasting pan.  If not, use juices from the crockpot. 

Place cottage roll into a 325F oven, uncovered, for 45 minutes.  Remove from oven and brush on remaining glaze, then put back into the oven under the broiler until bubbly and brown.  Keep an eye on it, or it will burn quickly.
